Namoi Cotton was formed as a grower owned co-operative in Wee Waa, NSW in 1962 by a small group of pioneering cotton growers. In October 2017, Namoi Cotton restructured to become Namoi Cotton Limited, a fully public company listed on the ASX.
Namoi Cotton primarily operates in the Australian and global cotton industry. Namoi Cotton is Australia’s leading cotton processing business with 11 cotton gins in regional NSW and QLD. Namoi Cotton also operates a cotton marketing business through its joint venture with Louis Dreyfus Company, Namoi Cotton Alliance (NCA) established in 2013.
Namoi Cotton has an integrated business model with strengths in cotton ginning, logistics and handling of cotton and other grain based commodities (through NCA), the marketing of cotton internationally (through NCA) and the trading of cotton seed domestically and internationally.
